Understanding on Car Warning Light

Some warning lights require immediate action. It is especially dangerous to drive if the brake or engine warning lights appear. In this instance, have an authorized auto dealer’s repair shop or a trustworthy car maintenance business inspect it right away.

Warning light is the only communication delivered to us by a car that cannot speak. It must accurately understand the message and take correct actions.

The colours of warning lights each have their own meaning. The five most prevalent colours that display in your dashboard are as follows:

  1. RED – Need immediate response
  2. YELLOW/ORANGE – Need to done upon service or need soon response
  3. BLUE/GREEN – The function is in use or turned on

Most recent vehicles are equipped with a self-diagnosis device, and if something goes wrong with the vehicle, the diagnostic equipment activates and shows a warning light to alert the driver of the irregularity. The irregularity is read from the vehicle using a tester (external failure diagnosis machine) at the service centre, and troubleshooting is performed in accordance with the instructions published by each manufacturer.

It is vital to inspect your car on a regular basis so that you are aware of its status at all times. Here at Tiger Shoji, we offered our Flea Market Harimau customers a 30-Point Check for every vehicle they purchased, also known as Shaken Inspection in Japan.

Of course, it is important to fix or replace the faulty part, but regular car maintenance is the minimum requirement to avoid breakdowns and accidents and preserve your valuable car, yourself, or your valuable beloved family and friends. Remember, it’s a driver’s responsibility!
